1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Mongjee, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. Mongjee reserves the right to update these terms; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
2. Platform Description
Mongjee is a personal shopping and live commerce platform that connects Buyers with independent Personal Shoppers (KOLs) who source, purchase, and deliver goods on behalf of Buyers. Mongjee acts solely as a technology facilitator, providing escrow payment management and identity verification. Mongjee is not a party to the transaction between Buyer and Shopper and does not take title to any goods.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Mongjee. By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and are not prohibited from using the platform under the laws of your jurisdiction.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Each person may register only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans is prohibited.
5. Prohibited Items and Activities
The following are strictly prohibited: counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods, narcotics and controlled substances, weapons and explosives, endangered species products, hazardous materials, pornographic content, fraudulent listings, harassment or hate speech, and any activity that violates applicable law.
6. Payments and Escrow
Payment for orders is processed through Razorpay and held in escrow by Mongjee until the Buyer confirms delivery. Upon confirmation, funds less platform fees are released to the Personal Shopper. Mongjee charges a service fee disclosed at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where Mongjee determines fault lies with the platform.
7. Disputes
If a Buyer has concerns about an order, they must raise a dispute before confirming delivery. Once delivery is confirmed, funds are released and the transaction is final. Mongjee may investigate disputes and take action including refunds, account suspension, or permanent bans. Mongjee's decision on disputes is final.
8. Termination
Mongjee may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time via the Settings page. Pending orders and outstanding payouts will be processed before account closure.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
